Eye Tracking: VR
Track attention in Virtual Reality
Explore visual attention in virtual environments
With eye tracking-enabled VR headsets
Eye tracking in immersive VR is transforming how studies can be conducted.
It opens up exciting new research possibilities in fields such as psychology, gaming, neuroscience, shopper science, training, and performance assessment.
The iMotions VR module
The iMotions VR Eye Tracking Module allows for eye tracking data collection, visualization, and analysis in virtual environments using the HTC Vive Pro Eye and Varjo VR-1 eye tracking headsets. Capture and analyze visual attention using heatmaps, gaze replays, and areas of interest (AOI) output metrics such as time to first fixation & time spent. iMotions also provides automated gaze-mapping technology, in which gaze from dynamic environments is converted to static scenes for simpler aggregation and analysis.

Award winning Game Design Research
Dr. Alessandro Canossa at Northeastern University conducts sophisticated player behavior studies using iMotions in a fraction of the time as compared to before iMotions. He’s won a best paper award for this work.
Combine biosensors and uncover underlying emotions and responses
The iMotions software combines eye tracking naturally with other biosensors like electrodermal activity and EEG to efficiently unpack human emotions and physiological responses. Click on an icon to learn more about the biosensor module.
