Study Design
With the iMotions software’s intuitive point-and-click interface, you can effortlessly create advanced study designs. The software supports various methodologies, including within- and between-subject designs, randomizations, and block designs. This flexibility ensures comprehensive and adaptable research setups, allowing you to easily tailor workflows to meet specific research requirements effectively.
Stimuli Presentation
iMotions core features robust multimedia capabilities, which lets you present stimuli in various formats, including images, videos, live websites, surveys, mobile phone apps, software interfaces, gaming, and VR. The software also supports up to three camera feeds, providing a versatile and comprehensive platform for your research needs.
Data Collection
With iMotions, data collection is streamlined and efficient. Manage respondents seamlessly and view real-time data, including raw data and metrics. Collect behavioral observation data from cameras, mouse clicks, and keystrokes. Additionally, capture respondent activity using facial and environmental cameras, ensuring comprehensive and detailed data for your research.
Markup & Annotations
iMotions core allows for precise markup and annotations, enabling the creation of live or post-processing markers with detailed notes. Data analysis is facilitated by a variety of automated features and user-friendly tools that are activated with the purchase of the relevant modules. These tools offer moment-to-moment visualization of both raw and aggregated data, as well as summary scores across multiple modalities.
Data Import / Export:
iMotions core offers comprehensive data import and export capabilities. Export raw data, videos, summary metrics, and data visualizations on both video and static stimuli. Import external data sources for visualization and synchronization. Record respondents’ faces and environments using up to three camera feeds, and capture and review scenes to define moments of interest.
API
iMotions core features an advanced API, supporting input and output via UDP or TCP/IP connections for live data streaming to and from third-party software and hardware. Integrate nearly any device for full synchronization. Upload externally recorded data, such as sensor recordings or videos, for in-depth analysis. Utilize TTL triggers for precise synchronization signals and LSL (Lab Streaming Layer) integration for real-time timeline signals from any LSL-supported device, allowing even more devices to be integrated into iMotions.
Integrated Surveys
iMotions core enables the creation and launching of surveys, either in conjunction with or separately from biosensor recordings. Design surveys with multiple-choice, scale, and open-ended questions, customizable with rich text, images, and color to meet your specific research needs.
