Whether you are interested in analyzing postures, poses, or positions, Motion Capture saves you time by automatically identifying landmarks and tracking separate body parts or landmarks and extracting movement metrics from video. No expensive motion capture suit necessary!

Motion Capture module is a suitless, markerless motion capture (mocap) technology. The module overlays a stick-figure skeleton on your video, allowing you to verify the accuracy of the pose estimation for your specific use case. You can visualize the whole body or focus on the hands. No need to manually analyze one video at a time; this module quickly processes batches of videos.

Automatic Kinematic Metrics

Motion Capture provides kinematic metrics from video data. Metrics include speed, acceleration, position, and angles of various body parts. You can analyze specific parts of the body: right and left wrists, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles. Two different whole-body algorithms, RTMO and MediaPipe, are included in the module, giving you flexibility to determine what works best with your videos.

Motion Capture provides raw data exports for more advanced data analysis for both whole body analyses and the hands-only analysis. You can also export the video with the stick-figure overlay for the whole body or only hands for your own visualizations.
