At iMotions, we build the world’s leading software platform for multimodal human behavior research and we’re looking for an experienced Software Developer to help shape the next generation of our technology.
You’ll join an international, highly skilled team working on-site from our central Copenhagen office, collaborating closely across disciplines to deliver robust, research-grade software used by leading organizations worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing integrations with biometric sensors (e.g. eye tracking, EEG, GSR, facial expression analysis)
- Developing reliable, high-performance data processing and synchronization pipelines
- Building and refining user-facing functionality with a strong focus on usability
- Working closely with colleagues and technology partners in Europe and the US
- Proactively identifying and communicating product and usability improvements
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a developer who enjoys working on complex systems and values close, in-person collaboration.
Required / strongly desired experience:
- Professional experience with Windows desktop development using .NET, C#, and WPF
- 3–5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance-sensitive systems
- Educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Nice to have:
- Experience with C or C++
- Interest in or experience with UX/UI design and implementation
- Experience with real-time, data-intensive, or hardware-integrated systems
You are a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills and enjoy being part of a collaborative, on-site team environment.
What We Offer
- High degree of ownership and real influence on product and technical direction
- An informal, friendly, and curious team culture
- Hands-on work with cutting-edge biometric technologies
- An on-site role at our office in central Copenhagen
If you’re motivated by building complex software that advances human behavior research, and you value working closely with your teammates in person, we’d love to hear from you.
