Affectiva + iMotions Partnership
iMotions integrates Affectiva’s AFFDEX technology to gain deeper insight into human emotional reactions via facial expressions. The powerful facial expression algorithm uses automated facial coding to provide the probability that certain facial expressions are expressed, including:
- 20 facial expression measures (action units)
- 7 core emotions: joy, anger, fear, disgust, contempt, sadness, and surprise
- Facial landmarks
- Behavioral indices such as head orientation, attention, blinks, and blink rate
- Summary scores of engagement and valence, giving you an overview of the overall expressed response
- Face detection and tracking, adaptable to many head angles and lighting conditions
