Boston, MA / Provo, UT — February 17, 2016 – Qualtrics, the world’s leading enterprise insight platform and iMotions, the world’s leading biometrics research platform, today announced a new partnership that will enable customer experience and consumer insight professionals to get more insights from human behavior. Researchers can now combine sophisticated surveys with advanced biometrics insights, including everything from eye tracking to facial expressions and electroencephalogram (EEG) to galvanic skin response (GSR) and more. Combining iMotions’ metrics of visual attention, engagement and motivation provides a complete view of an individual’s reactions. These metrics can be automatically integrated into a survey for analysis and insight extraction.
“The Qualtrics partnership with iMotions is evidence of our continued dedication to our clients’ success. Integrating with iMotions allows Qualtrics to expand our platform capabilities and continue creating the strongest insight ecosystem on the market,” says Shane Evans, head of global partnerships and channels at Qualtrics. “Our customers will benefit from additional qualitative metrics to complement the quantitative data they are capturing.”
The partnership expands iMotions’ best in class biometric research platform by adding advanced survey methods from Qualtrics. Large enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, and academic clients can now directly integrate Qualtrics and iMotions. This integration enables researchers to not only collect self-reported survey data, but also to expand their ability to gather insights about participants’ emotional and visual reactions.. Human behavior and decisions are largely driven by emotions, therefore gathering data on both the subconscious and conscious reactions allows for more complete insights into an individual’s actions.
“I am very excited about partnering with Qualtrics because it will further elevate the insights for both traditional and biometric researchers,” says Peter Hartzbech, founder and CEO of iMotions. The combination of the most powerful insight software with our biometric research solution will enable users to see the full picture of conscious responses and subconscious bodily responses. Qualtrics is a market leader in this area and we are excited to partner with them and bring more combined research solutions to the market together.”
