The innovative software company iMotions – Emotion Technology has exercised an option to bring in 2 additional angels to its investor group. As part of the January 2006 $US 1.8 Million deal, iMotions created an option to accept additional investors who possessed the right competencies to support iMotions’ con- tinued high growth. The US investor, Andy Miller, brings more than 30 years experience from the Marketing and PR industries and has been through the process of bringing a 1 person PR start-up to a $US 40 Million revenue global company. The Danish investor, Joergen Thorball, has been part of starting more than 20 companies and is currently a Chairman of 3 promising start-ups and is today seated as Vice President of Business Development in Novozymes A/S, one of the World leaders within enzymes.

“Andy Miller, Chairman and CEO of Miller Consulting Group is one of the world’s leading technology mar- keting and public relations experts. He has helped position and launch Compaq, Lotus, Internet Capital Group and more than 100 other emerging consumer and business-to-business technology innovators. He has also helped a number of European companies launch in the US, which will be of immense value to iMotions. In addition, the Danish investor, Joergen Thorball, has an impressive background in Entrepreneur- ship and with his background as a doctor and his degree within psychology he very early understood the technology and its huge potential. At the same time he understood and believed in the way iMotions have been running the company fast and efficiently to market in the early stage”, said Peter Hartzbech, CEO of iMotions.

“iMotions is different from most startups in that its technology is proven, it has strong management across the board and its people are united behind a single global vision. iMotions could have a profound impact not just on advertising and marketing, but on other key industry segments as well. I am delighted to be associated with the iMotions team”, said Mr. Miller.

“As one of the judges at Baltic Sea Venture Final, selecting the 3 best high tech start-ups in North Europe, I was clearly fascinated by the promising technology behind iMotions, which is at the cutting edge of psy- chology, eye physiology and emotional response efficiently used in software applications for the booming advertisement industry. iMotions has moved forward in high speed achieving its milestones on time – latest with the best proof-of-concept; first customer sales,” said Dr. Thorball.

“Our 2 new investors add collectively to many of the competencies already in and around iMotions. Joer- gen brings important expertise in psychology, our core technology and entrepreneurship, while Andy brings global technology marketing expertise and valuable knowledge of the US market and we are delighted to have them as part of our Investment Team”, said Co-Founders Hartzbech & Jakob de Lemos.
